  • Goedenavond: Good evening (after 6 PM)
  • Doei / Doeg: Informal farewells, like "Bye". Very common.
  • Tot ziens: More formal farewell, literally "Until seeing again". Good for shops, formal situations.
  • Dag: Can be used as both a greeting ("Hello") and a farewell ("Bye"), slightly more formal than "Hallo" or "Doei".
